You will join our world-class tech team and will work closely with the Product and Dev teams, along with Gaëtan, our designer. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for shaping usable and desirable experiences that solve user pains, for our main platform Wooclap.

Responsibilities

As a Product Designer, you will have a key role in conceiving features that ambition to solve our users’ pains. More concretely, you will:

• Participate in user research to get a better understanding of how our products are used, why, and what for.
• Translate teachers’ needs into usable and delightful interfaces that help them deliver amazing learning experiences.
• Design and prototype experiences on Figma, that balance user needs with business requirements and technological feasibility.
• Bring those prototypes in the hands of end-users, and iterate until you are confident in the solution that will be developed.
• Align with our Designer Gaëtan to maintain the consistency of the entire user experience on the 2 platforms: simple and on-brand.
• Take initiative on product features to build, remove or evolve. Be autonomous and proactive in the experience you want to design for the users of our products.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our Design & Product processes and methodologies

• You have a first experience as Product Designer, preferably in a Saas environment.
• You are curious, and have empathy for our users. You want to perform user research on a given problem, and user tests to make sure your solutions answer users’ needs.

• You’re a team player and love working with different teams.
• You have a problem-solving mindset: you are able to articulate diverse constraints (technical, business, time…) to propose the best solution for users.
• You’re always on the lookout for new trends in design and are eager to share it with your team
• You deliver high-quality designs and are known for your attention to details, while keeping in mind the big picture.
• You speak French (mandatory) and have a fluent level of English
