We are hiring a DevOps Engineer in Shanghai.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer and strong communicator, based in our Shanghai office. This person will be part of a global DevOps team supporting our e-commerce platform and report to the VP of Platform Engineering in APAC.

In this role you will

• Be part of a global DevOps team and responsible for building & maintaining a continuous delivery pipeline for a highly scalable cloud native e-commerce platform
• Lead all DevOps initiatives from an APAC perspective, including developer on-boarding, documentation, and collaboration between teams
• Be responsible for the operation of AWS infrastructure including Kubernetes, networking, and databases
• Implement security, compliance, monitoring, and alerting for the platform
• Work with the Business Intelligence team to ensure that the platform can support the business and deliver value to customers & the business
• Communicate with stakeholders across departments to develop and refine processes
• Work with suppliers and contractors to define, implement, and support the platform

About you

• Great communicator, able to clearly and concisely articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Degree in Computer Science or similar experience
• AWS is a must have
• Solid experience with Linux, Git, containers.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud native applications
• Worked with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis, CircleCI, etc)
• Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, AWS Cloudformation etc)
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting tools
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a substantial degree of ambiguity
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and improve existing skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
