Do you want to lead the developments of TiHive’s see-through industrial vision systems

As part of of our scale-up, we are looking for an experienced industrial hardware lead who will report directly to the Director of Industrial Operations.

Your main missions are:

• Develop the technical specifications of the TiHive proprietary seethrough vision system, including embedded electronics, mechanical and optical systems by developing them from our product specifications.

• Build the hardware architecture of our vision systems, carry out system analysis in collaboration with the firmware lead (quantitative simulation of idealized systems, taking into account system performance metrics, creation of prototypes)

-Integrate TiHive’s proprietary imaging components, from chips, optics and mechanics

• Design the physical bricks and assemble them (choice of components, placement, routing, verifications) in compliance with the specifications (performance, time, cost), in collaboration with the subcontractors

• Supervise the outsourcing of the mechanical architecture of the system and carry out the system analysis (quantitative simulation of idealized systems, taking into account system performance metrics, creation of prototypes, choice of components)

• Manage manufacturing (electronic, mechanical and optical dimensions)

• Collaborate in the development of embedded software bricks

• Implement the system characterization plan, carry out system characterization and write measurement reports

• Implement TiHive product powerup, failure analysis and propose corrective solutions

You are the ideal candidate if:

• You have a BAC + 5 in systems engineering and have a minimum of 10 years experience in equivalent functions

• You master the following technical bases:

  • Electronics (physics, design, measurement)
  • Electronic design tools (schematic and routing) such as Kicad
  • STM32Cube environment
  • Real time embedded development
  • Design and layout of mechanical parts and systems
  • Hardware platforms
  • expertise in vision systems, camera designs, imaging, and sensing

• You have knowledge of and an interest in

  • optics (principles, experiments)
  • IP networks
• You are rigorous, methodical, organized, problem-solving oriented, have a good sense of synthesis and enjoy teamwork
• You are fluent in English
