We are looking for Senior Buyer for our three BUs : Paris, Madrid & London.

Job purpose:

Source & negotiate in our business units while managing timing, quality, sustainability and costs in line with functional, business, region & Suntory objectives.

Monitor & optimize procurement strategy, build and manage a suppliers panel

Main accountabilities :

Accountability 1 : Budget & cost optimisation

oSet budget standard prices for his/her subcategories & follow purchase price variances.

oDeliver financial targets for the portfolio through negotiations activities

oDrive the negotiation on all the terms & conditions including prices review with a TCO approach

oSpecific to blackcurrant : negotiate annual contracts & quotas respecting framework agreement guidelines

oEnsure appropriate reporting to the Procurement management.

Accountability 2 : Market insights & strategies

oDefine and implement strategies for most strategic categories

oPrepare / improve master strategy for other JC’s

oFollow up market evolutions regularly to identify new risks & opportunities. Manage communication with stakeholders to share relevant market information

oSpecifically on blackcurrant : Ensure industry presence and in collaborative approach with agronomist, define SRM plans

Accountability 3 : Quality & risk management

oHold regular BRM with most critical suppliers. Besides negotiation areas, monitor quality & KPI’s adherence

oIn a close collaboration with SPM roles, improve quality of top offenders based on a 80/20 approach, having clear action plans and follow up done during the year. Prepare & contribute proactively to suppliers bi annual reviews

oPrepare & contribute proactively to suppliers bi-annual reviews

oMaintain risk analysis & ensure we have BCP in place with our key partners

oDevelop alternative sourcing (locations, suppliers, specifications) when relevant

oDevelop framework agreements & drive continuous improvement by putting in place SLA / KPI’s

o Pro-actively contribute to performance process continuous improvement

Accountability 4 : Innovation

oBe an active member of NPD projects, raise opportunities & risks for each innovation project

oBe an active member or Procurement – R&D community

oDefine and follow a pipeline of COVI / Value optimization ideas

osupport the organisation to progress on CSR & organic topics

Main complexity :

•Develop market knowledge expertise to drive best procurement operations

•Demonstrate agility and reactivity to answer to Business needs On Time In Full

•Ensure alignment & good relationships with Business stakeholders including Senior stakeholders (BU EXCOM and n-1)

•Develops Business Partnering with R&D on innovation agenda

•Optimize quality, cost and service performance of the suppliers

•Continuous Market, technical & CSR Intelligence

Typical background :

•University degree level, technical or economical.

A Procurement specialization is a +

•Purchasing/supply chain experience 3-5Y

•Knowledge and experience of the relevant industry sector / fruits & juices related

•Excel, PPT & Procurement IT tools

•Fluent in English. French & Spanish are +
