OBS realized in 2019 a turnover exceeding €7bn in the areas of communication and IT services (Cyberdefense, Cloud, Data management…) to corporates. OBS has a worldwide presence (either directly or through partnerships) with around 1/3 of revenues sourced out of France, and ~20,000 employees of which more than half out of France.

OBS is made up of several legal entity groups, primary among them being Equant International legal entities, OBS SA & subsidiaries (Cyberdefence, Securelink, Securedata, Business & Decision, Basefarm, etc. These are IT and security services’ entities), Globecast entities and DGC division of Orange SA.

Reporting to OBS Head of Treasury, you take responsibility for the management of several day to day treasury topics as well as providing support on various cross-functional projects.

The position is preferably located in Paris but may be based elsewhere. Fluent English is compulsory, as well as fluent French and a treasury background.
Your main responsibilities include:

1.Build strong relationships with various key internal and external stakeholders like banks, Orange Group Treasury and Heads of Finance
2.Support in implementation of structured finance deals, whether for entities or for specific commercial deals
oSupply chain financings, factoring programs, leases, shareholder loans, bank overdrafts across OBS
3.Assist in functional integration of OBS SA subsidiaries that form part of OBS, roll out of OBS Treasury best practices for daily operations like funding, cash management, FX risk management, guarantees, leasing etc.
oOBS SA subsidiaries: Orange Cyber Defence, B&D, Basefarm, OCB
4.Ensure routine treasury activities are performed efficiently and following requirements of OBS CGM
oCash management and upstreaming to holdings, dividends and subsidiary funding are properly documented and focused on usual Group lenders, FX risk factoring in business deals and hedging operation for deals/entities/group

Key internal interactions:

In this role, you are expected to regularly interact with various functions across the OBS perimeter (Sales and commercial finance teams, financial controlling and accounting, Tax, legal etc.), in particular developing strong relationship with OBS SA perimeter subsidiaries, as well as Orange Group Treasury.

Be able to multi-task, prioritize and manage conflicting interests in projects and activities
At least 2-3 years’ experience of treasury function within a multi-national organization.
Good knowledge of corp. finance techniques (IRR, NPV valuation etc.) and financing tools (leasing, short term financing etc.)
Ability to coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders (legal, tax, sales, etc.)
