OCUS is at the growth stage and is looking for a Back-End Developer to implement reliable and flexible APIs to support our vision and our customers needs.

Our back-end team and its performance are key to OCUS success, allowing Image Creators, customers and our staff to be super efficient in their daily tasks.

Your responsibilities
Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile and analyze bottlenecks
Design perform, robust APIs to support mobile and web clients
Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloud
Optimization of web applications for performance and scalability
Deliver quality, performance and maintainability

• You are based in EU timezone
• Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms
• Expert in PHP, ideally Laravel knowledge or other relevant PHP framework if you are willing to invest on learning Laravel
• You care about elegance and efficiency of code
• You care about testing and documentation
• Growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas
• Team player

Nice to have

• ElasticSearch is a plus
• Experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies
• Experience on SaaS products and / or fast-growth environment

Salary range: 45-55k
