This Inside Sales role is a key position, a real "customer switch", and takes care of all new customers looking for freelancers.

You will be theYou are the first point of contact for all new French customers on the platform and the dedicated contact for a portfolio of SMB (Small & Medium Business)

Your role is to detect the best opportunities on the platform and to convert a maximum of projects. At Malt, the Inside Sales team interacts with "hot" prospects who already have a written project: your role is therefore to bring value directly to your customers and dig deeper! 

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Convert as many opportunities as possible by helping clients with initial research and using the platform.
  • Address customers' requests with a “Sales mindset”
  • Understand your clients and their current projects to detect and anticipate their needs.
  • Moderate and qualify clients by collecting relevant information (seriousness of the project, size of the structure, sector, needs, stakes...).
  • Provide support to your portfolio of customers (sourcing, invoicing, payment…)
  • Collecting customer feedback and interpreting it to propose improvements to the platform.
  • Interact with other teams within Malt to solve problems and to offer clients the best possible experience
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • First experience in a sales or client-facing role, ideally in a dynamic tech environment
  • Business school degree or similar
  • Proactive, organized, and autonomous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish quality relationships with clients and freelancers
  • Native-level French speaker
  • Fully fluent English speaker and comfortable in an international anglophone environment

  • How to join the mission ? 🚀

  • First call with Elisa, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, and aspirations and answer your questions (30-45 minutes)
  • Interview with Juliette, Inside Sales team lead, your manager, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45min)
  • Then, you will meet Xavier, the Head of the Self-service, and Juliette for a Business case (60min)
  • Lastly, you will meet Nicolas, General Manager of the SMB. (30min)
