Part of our growth strategy is centred around attracting top talent to help us nurture our ongoing success. We are now looking for our new Operations Lead.

Due to the nature of its operations, Lydia is required to provide top quality services, 24/7. Any bug or downtime may strongly affect the trust Lydia users may have towards the platform and could therefore lead to massive negative business impact.

The Operations team is in charge of ensuring this required level of quality in Lydia’s technical operations, by setting up & following the proper monitoring plans, investigating potential bugs, managing potential incidents and working closely with the technical team to pass appropriate fixes or required developments.

As an Operations Lead (Payments), you will lead a team of Operations Specialists to ensure all operations related to payments are running smoothly and that Lydia users always have a seamless payment experience.

Reporting to our Head of Payments, you will join the Technical Product Management & Operations team.

What you will do :

  • Be responsible for the monitoring of all payment-related KPIs (payment decline rate, timeout rate, number of downtime per year, etc.) ;

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with Lydia's technical partners related involved in payment operations ;

  • Build and follow performance monitoring plans related to payment operations ;

  • Investigate potential bugs or frictions escalated by other operational teams (e.g., Customer Care) or indicated by your monitoring, and work closely with technical team to fix them ;

  • Make sure your team work with the right tools and processes ;

  • Identify proactively areas of improvement to reach operational excellence ;

  • Hire and grow a team of Operations Specialists to ensure the highest quality of service, 24/7.

    You are in the right place if :

  • You have more than 10 years of experience in running technical operations ;

  • You have experience in payment ;

  • You show strong analytical and written communication skills.
