🚀 About the Team

Join Wakam's Claims Squad – International. The team manages claims for programs operated under Freedom of Services across Europe, in partnership with BPOs (claims management delegates). Our mission: ensure rigorous, compliant, and customer-focused claims handling, while securing technical results.

🎯 The Mission

Manage a portfolio of bodily injury and property damage claims (amicable & litigation) across multiple countries, oversee and challenge key actions carried out by our BPOs, and contribute to the launch of new international partnerships.

✏️ Your Responsibilities

  • Assess, reserve, and monitor the technical costs of international claims files.
  • Analyse and apply relevant legal, case law, and contractual rules.
  • Manage claims amicably and through litigation (strategy, negotiation, follow-up).
  • Oversee compensation of victims and/or third-party payers.
  • Exercise recovery rights (amicable/judicial) in line with Wakam's interests.
Provide support in relation to our BPOs (delegated management):
  • Validate financial actions outside delegated authority (reserves, settlement offers/agreements).
  • Monitor compliance with delegated processes and handling instructions; escalate deviations and follow up on action plans

✨ Who You Are

  • Professional English (mandatory) required; another European language is a plus.
  • Solid experience in international claims management (bodily injury and/or property damage), in an insurance company, brokerage, or BPO.
  • Strong command of litigationtechnical reserves, and recovery actions.
  • Culture of control and compliance, focus on technical results and service quality.
  • Strong analytical skills, rigourautonomy, excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Enjoy cross-functional collaboration (BPOs, Legal, Compliance, Audit, Finance, Partner Network).
