Jolimoi is a multi-brand social sales platform based on a community of people that all share a passion for beauty. Our mission is to help everybody to find their true beauty and the products that fit with it. We use peer-to-peer selling and innovative technologies to empower customers, create more transparency, and provide them with a human and personalized experience. We are building a network of independent Beauty Stylists that provide customized advice to our customers using a platform built for their needs. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a fullstack developer.

You will join a team of 15 people and will have the possibility to have a big impact on our products, our processes and our stack.

You will have to :

• Participate in building our products (two Vue.js apps, one PHP e-shop, several node.js services)
• Help define best practices and apply them
• Participate in technical analyses
• Help members of the team to progress
• Participate in defining our methodologies

The tech&product team works on both a platform for our final customers and different tools we provide our Beauty Stylists so that they can provide better advice to those final customers. We have a lot of amazing challenges coming, amongst others there are the following examples :

• How can you build a gamified e-learning platform that will improve our Beauty Stylists’ capacities to provide appropriate recommendations to our customers? And how can you adapt it to each stylist’s level?
• How can you best train our Beauty Stylists on more than 600 references?
• How can you provide the best User Experience to our final customer?
• How can we develop new offers and products to provide our final customers with innovative experiences around beauty advising?

At Jolimoi, we put a strong emphasis on building up good habits both in the way we code and the way we work. We are already applying the following methodologies:

• Think before you code: Each task has its architecture detailed and reviewed before it is implemented.
• Code review: Each PR is reviewed by the team and debates end up in new best practices we follow.
• Code lisibility: We want our code to be understandable by anyone regardless of their technical level.
• Testing: Each PR is expected to contain the appropriate unit tests.
• Retrospectives: Each sprint, we look back on how things were done and vote on what can be improved in the way we work.
• One to one: Regular meetings with your manager to have a safe and opened communication channel.
