AI Research Engineer H/F

As AI Research Engineer, your main responsibilities are :

• Challenge our deep learning models and overcome their weaknesses with innovative approaches.
• Understand and be in charge of existing deep learning pipelines, from data management to model deployment.
• Help Gleamer expand its product portfolio by reusing and adapting existing internal frameworks, or laying the groundwork for exciting new challenges such as working with new imaging modalities.

• MSc or PhD in the field of Computer Vision
• Extensive experience in deep learning applied to computer vision
• Thorough practical experience of a python deep learning framework (Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc.)
• Ability to efficiently describe methods and results to technical and non-technical audiences
• Great team spirit and at ease with teamwork
• Constant awareness and ability to read, understand and implement new deep learning literature
• Good software engineering skills with Python (Clean code, git, IDE, etc.)
• Comfortable in a UNIX/Linux environment

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge in medical imaging (X-ray, scanner, MRI, etc.) is a plus
• Experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Large scale training/inference and model service serving experience
• Experience in packaging and delivering models into production
• Framework designing skills
