Finding the right track our users are looking for, the rising artist they have heard of, or the podcast everybody is talking about... : the search engine is there for our users. Since it is the main entrypoint to browse our catalog of millions of tracks, albums or playlists, we are looking for a smart and creative ML engineer to work on it. Inside the data science department, you will join the search team and become the bridge between product and Research. Your mission will be to increase the search engine relevance, reduce effort to get results and provide state of the art machine learning algorithms such as LLM to improve the user experience.

What you will do:

• Design, code, experiment and implement in production models and algorithms such as personalizing results according to user taste, understanding their intent with NLP
• Work closely with the product manager to improve the search experience for our users
• Collaborate with our Research team to build the future of the search engine.

This role is excellent for a person with:

• At least 3 years of work experience in machine learning and NLP models deployed in production;
• Fluent in at least one language in Python, Scala or Java
• Familiarity with the use of Elasticsearch 
• Ability to take initiative, strong business sense and and innovative mindset 
• Fluent in English or French.

Experience with analyzing large data sets using Hadoop/Spark/GCP is a plus !
