⭐ About the team:
The Legal Department handles the full scope of the legal issues that may come up in the course of DataDome’s activity, ranging from drafting contracts to handling lawsuits. The legal team’s work is likely to be a combination of:

• Transaction support, including in relation to contracting and compliance
• Helping DataDome understand the legislative and regulatory implications of its new projects, products, services and expansion plans
• Helping DataDome understand legislative and regulatory changes that may impact DataDome’s business model and operations
• Risk Management & Insurance
• Intellectual property work
• Data Privacy
• Litigation

👉 You will be more specifically in charge of things like…

• Legal research: Data Privacy problematics, NTIC and cybersecurity, tax issues, labour law, etc.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of various agreements: commercial contracts, DPAs, terms and conditions, privacy policies, etc.
• Trainings: preparation of training sessions for our teams.
• Day to day legal processes: monitoring and implementation of various workflows and processings.

👤 It would be great if…

• You are enrolled in a French university/Bar school for the duration of the internship (6 months) and be able to provide a “convention de stage” for the entire time.
• Ideally you have some experience (+3 months) gained either in private practice and/or in-house and a strong academic record in Business Law, Digital and new technologies Law, Contract Law or International Law (Master 2)
• You master legal research
• You demonstrate rigor, diplomacy and a sense of confidentiality
