We are looking for a new member of our finance team in Prague - Commercial Finance Manager for Czech and Slovak Market.

What will be your accountabilities?
  • To Drive proactively pricing agenda for Czech Republic and Slovakia (facilitation of Pricing and Excise meetings, price noting, Cluster requirements), providing relevant and valuable insights for effective pricing decision making process.
  • Preparing and understanding revenue forecast in the regular reporting cycles.
  • To undertake analysis of competitors pricing, marketing investment and overall profitability.
  • To provide marketing management with financial information and Key Performance Indicators on Brand and Trade Marketing plans and activities, while facilitating effective decision making and improving efficiency and effectiveness of spend.
  • Proactively participates in the marketing decision making process, bringing financial / business focus to marketing activities as well as a marketing function focus to financial issues.
  • To supervise the preparation of the marketing budget/plan and to provide accurate and timely information to assist marketing management in monitoring ongoing performance.
  • To provide Commercial Finance support in forecasting and planning process
  • To provide Commercial Finance support to Trade department (trading terms and conditions, distributor remuneration).
  • Motivate and develop 1 subordinate.
  • Encourage development of staffs through education & training (e.g. excel, IFRS etc.)
  • Ensures that all administrative activities (Joiner, Mover, Leaver), recruitment, performance improvement, time-off etc are performed and followed OTIF.
  • Ensures that appropriate performance objectives are in place and measured against targets OTIF.
  • Provides timely feedback and clarity on performance standards whilst coaching and developing performance.

Preferované skúsenosti


  • University degree in Economics or relevant area.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • High command in MS Office.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance department in FMCG company.
  • Knowledge in pricing, excise, portfolio strategy and budgeting.
  • Effective leader / driver of new initiatives.
  • Proactive, persuasive, creative and prepared to challenge existing ideas.
  • Provider of financial insights regarding the impact of marketing strategies.
  • Project management skills, the ability to define clear priorities in multi-project environments.
  • Coaching, mentoring and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of all functions within a FMCG company.
