We are looking for a Confirmed Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Operated Bus and Marketing Software Team !
The team’s mission is to build unique and advanced Tech Solutions that improve the efficiency and productivity of our Operated Bus and Marketing business users, differentiating ourselves from competitors.
You will be a part of a team currently made of 2 Back-End, 1 Front-End and 1 FullStack engineers, and still growing. But you will also work closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers to provide the best-in-class tools.
We believe that well performing services are ones that are followed by the same people throughout its application lifecycle. This means that you will be there from the early conception meetings, development and test strategy, to deployment in production, observability, and support.
Your main responsibilities
Defining the Frontend architecture according to the technical standards at BlaBlaCar.Participating in the design, development and maintenance of our internal tools, both on the Frontend and Backend side.Participating in the whole application lifecycle, meaning : early meetings, design, development, tests strategy, deployment to production, monitoring, alerting and supportInteracting with people with different roles and backgrounds and sharing your technical expertise with a mix of technical, product and business expertsYour qualifications
Excellent Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6, ES7), HTML5, CSS3Proven experience in building web application with recent frameworks, such as Vue, React, Angular (preferably React)Fluency in object oriented language development (preferably Java)Hands-on experience with developer tools like Git and JenkinsProduct-oriented spirit with the ambition to deliver the best experience to our internal customersYou have good communication skills Fluent in spoken and written EnglishNice to have
Good knowledge of service oriented architecture and architectural patternsKnowledge of frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit and MockitoExperience with developer tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions (Datadog)Experience working with GCP, AWS or any equivalent Cloud platformFamiliar with databases, relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL ones (Google Datastore) What we have to offer :
