Job summary
The HR Business Partner (HR Generalist II) role is a People Matters front-line HR role to partner with Ops client group.
They support Managers in facilitating engagement activities and managing Associate queries.
They manage first level of employee cases and provide support into investigations for employee relations issues.
They continuously seek opportunities to invent and simplify specifically on the administrative workflow and processes.
Key job responsibilities
HR Generalist (50%):
Support the employees of support functions with a contract with Amazon France of Logistique and located in CDG10 corporate office (approx. 150 employees).
The specifics of the regional PXT CF HRBP role is that they work as a single HR point of contact on site, and interact at all levels. The core missions are:

  • Supporting the Managers and Leaders on the organizational health of the site and businesses
  • Owning the implementation and execution of HR related policies, programs, and guidelines. They act as a steward of the company culture.
  • Partnering, advising and influencing a variety of stakeholders (legal, finance, recruiting, HR Services, and HR COEs) and using their knowledge and understanding of the business requirements and needs to advocate for business needs.
  • Consulting with employees and management to prevent and address employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Representing Leadership at the CDG10 works council.

Executive Assistant (50%):
Supporting the SEU PXT Director as primary point of contact and information flow to and from a variety of teams, clients and partners of the SEU PXT leadership (25%). This person requires a specific attention to details, an ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple demands. The missions and activities are:
  • Maintaining integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, demonstrating high standards and professionalism in interactions with internal and external senior executives and employees.
  • Owning and managing the Director’ s calendar, including the Talent management life cycle of their direct reports, the leadership team meetings and routines, ad-hoc reports on project progress and status, including meeting schedule, debriefings, and follow-up actions.
  • Writing organization announcements relating to SEU PXT organization
  • Organizing travel planning, expense reports.

A day in the life
The CDG10 HR Business Partner (HR Generalist II) seats within the South Europe (SEU) regional People Experience and Technology (PXT) organization. They report into the SEU PXT CF director. In a fast-paced environment, they focus on 2 different areas; HR generalist and Executive assistant including SEU programs and project support.
Key required skills include facilitation, influencing, communication, analysis, employee engagement, risk evaluation, empathy, problem solving, good judgment, ability to make data driven two way doors decisions. Leadership principles requiring solid strength are Ownership, Invent and Simplify, earn trust, insists on the highest standards, strive to be earth best employer.

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent post-secondary qualification
· Experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Intermediate Excel knowledge
· Fluent command of French and English, in both written and verbal form
· Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and employment law
· Ability to collect, collate and analyze data
