Founded in 2021, Allisone’s core mission is setting up the future of dentistry by using Computer Vision and Deep Learning, and is simplifying dental practice as well. Allisone is a digital assistant that will never get tired of X-ray analysis and will bring safer and faster diagnosis.

We are looking for our first Cloud Engineer ! It’s only the beginning of a great adventure. We are 30 employees today, based in France, and we are going to start scaling this year in Europe. It’s the opportunity to join a young start-up.

Missions

As a Cloud Architect, you will:

- Directly report to the CTO

- Build a strong relationship with the application and development teams to understand the code, its dependencies, and the infrastructure on which it runs.

- Work with the team on designing, implementing and automating new AWS infrastructure components in accordance with best practices.

- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

- Define AWS security architecture with our Ops team.

- Define the standard to use to implement a Secure Software development life Cycle and secure microservices.

- Master finances and continuous optimisations of environments via the establishment of FinOps tools and procedures.

- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

- Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.

- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures

- Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.

- Ensure knowledge transfer.

Requirements

- Graduated in IT or any other higher education relevant to computer science

- You have 4+ years of experience in infrastructure and architecture design and development

- You have 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud platform (designing and implementing AWS solutions (Infrastructure, Security, Compute, Storage, Networking, DevOps…) and core services (EC2, S3, VPC, R53, ALB, RDS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)

- You master cybersecurity, networks administration, sys admin basics

- You have experience working with containers such as Docker, ECS and/or EKS

You already experienced working with infrastructure’s and configuration’s management tools and languages : Terraform, Ansible, etc.

- You are sensitive to the financial dimension of using Cloud ressources and understand the challenges linked to architecture choices

- Autonomous, organized, dynamic, curious, pedagogue and know how to be proactive.

- Curious and want to improve DevSecOps, FinOps skills

- Passionate and have affinities with Cloud Technologies

- You are sensitive to the open-source culture

- You are sensitive to the user experience (performance, ergonomy, usability, etc.) and are in constant technology watch

- Recognized for your ability to analyze, synthesize, express, and document

- Skilled at solving problems, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

Nice-to-have

- Experience with Pulumi (a Terraform-like IaC framework)

- AWS Certifications

- Previous experience in a SaaS environment

- Previous experience with ML Ops cloud solutions

- Pen-testing experience is a plus
