We are looking for our Life Science Strategist Junior in our dynamic scale-up organization who offers room for independence and professional development. In this role, you will be in charge of strengthening our Life sciences Team.
You will work with R&D and marketing teams across a broad life sciences universe from pharma, beauty, cosmetic, biotech to nutrition and vision care. Your goal is to help them turn their expertise and science into beautiful stories.
Reporting to the company’s Scientific Valorisation Director, this is a fast-paced environment that is both demanding and fulfilling. The agency will also depend on you to give projects direction and maintain a clear strategy to achieve the very best outcome for the client.
1. Science Digestion, Consumerisation & Strategy
Review all complex and exhaustive science documents from R&D teams
Do additional and extensive research on a specific science topic
Create a presentation / brief, summarising the key elements of the science/innovation in a simple way, accessible to your non-scientist colleagues
With a strong understanding of clients’ marketing and business objectives, brief and guide internal teams (strategists, creative teams) for them to develop the best consumer-friendly science story
Ensure the quality of our Life Science expertise throughout the project
Challenge R&D teams and push for our recommendations
In some cases, you may be required to be even more hands on, by leading entirely the strategy (strategic angle, narrative, storyline, script, …) of the project especially for very “medical-oriented” and “expert” topics.
Note: the main focus will be on the European region. However, depending on the typology of the projects and the available resources, you might also be involved in projects with other worldwide regions (i.e. Asia and US).
2. Project management
Ensure the support and development of a defined client portfolio (France and International), and guarantee the smooth running of projects as well as the delivery of strategic and creative content
Ensure project management, from client’s briefing to delivery
Prepare recommendations in close collaboration with the strategic / creative and production teams
Build budget proposals by working hand-in-hand with the production and strategic / creative teams
Ensure the follow-up and proper reporting of invoices for campaigns sold in coordination with the production team
Establish a privileged relationship with defined clients in order to identify and trigger collaboration opportunities and retain clients at the agency, with the aim of actively supporting commercial development
Your qualifications:
Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Biology with an additional degree in Business or Marketing
First experience in Marketing or Communication
Strong understanding of science in general and how do consumer care products work in term of mechanism of action and benefits for final consumers
You have a passion for life science and you strive to help R&D and marketing teams bring their innovations come to life

This is an office-based role that will require you to spend time in meetings and briefings, as well as staying in close contact with clients. It can be demanding, so real motivation is required to thrive.
