Although our primary focus has historically been on Higher Education institutions, more and more Business customers (training organizations, learning departments in companies…) expressed interest for Wooclap in recent years as they started to implement lifelong learning strategies. We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our team and accelerate our expansion on this market segment. This is where you come in!
Being responsible for proposing, coordinating and executing Wooclap’s sales strategy for Business customers in France, the Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in the success of Wooclap expansion plan in France and will drive all the steps of launching a new market segment with a strong level of autonomy. This role requires a mix of strategic vision and hands-on, fast and relentless execution.
The Sales Manager reports directly to the Head of Sales and closely works with the Marketing and CSM teams towards the common goal of hitting revenue targets and market leadership.
Responsibilities and duties
Reach our Sales targets (≈60%)
- Be the face of Wooclap (either in events, conferences or in relevant networks) and make sure we gain high visibility on the Business segment
- Pitch Wooclap to new prospects (80% of inbound leads at the moment)
- Achieve and surpass your personal sales objectives by closing deals with top-tier customers
- Build and maintain successful relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Act as a go-to person for the entire Sales team by contributing to training initiatives and proactively sharing knowledge and resources
Build and execute our go-to-market strategy (≈20%)
- Develop an expertise of the Business market to understand and anticipate customers’ needs
- Articulate what customer experience we have to build (in terms of value proposition, product, pricing, offer…) to reach leadership positions on your market segment
- Propose go-to-market strategies and resource allocation plans
- Perform market analysis to forecast revenue and potential business growth
- Follow and report on key sales KPIs and metrics
- Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with other teams to ensure alignment and deliver customer insights to the entire Wooclap team
Manage and coach a Sales team (≈20%)
- Build, lead and retain a top-performing Sales team on your market segment
- Act as a coach to ensure proper processes and best practices adoption, enable your team to achieve and surpass their goals and reach an overall high level of performance
- Ensure exhaustive documentation of resources and best practices and proactively share them with the rest of the Sales team
- Contribute to the improvement of the overall sales process
