You will join our world-class technical team and will work closely with our Co-Founder & CTO, Jonathan and our Head of Engineering, Thomas.

💪 What you might do

Processes

• Analyze and monitor the company’s projects and tools in terms of security risks and GDPR compliance. Check and validate the security actions, solutions- and tools that need to be implemented in the context of projects and across the organization, to ensure compliance with the security policy.
• Be proactive in defining security policies and procedures and be responsible for their maintenance. Define and implement security policies, within the strategic goals of the organization, and translate this into security concepts, to ensure these measures are followed-up in the different domains and there is a coherent level of security in the whole organization. Propose action plan and technical and/or organizational measures to the management without losing the pragmatic and realistic approach.
• Organize and coordinate security audits. Analyze the IT risks and perform different audits, as well as participate in the internal & external risk management processes to ensure risks are limited.
• Take charge of other security-related tasks such as analyses of compliance with new relevant regulations, interactions with auditors, or tender questions in this regard.
• Manage our IT assets in order to create a secure environment for the team.
• Be the driving force to help Wooclap obtain security certifications.
• Define, test, and monitor a Disaster Recovery Plan and help update it (business impact analysis).

People

• Perform certain security-related checks and critically review the results of additional checks carried out by other teams. Evaluate the performance of current technologies and scan the market for new technologies, recommend and test new products and introduce when beneficiary for the organization, to ensure the needs can be answered in the most efficient way.
• Organize staff awareness campaigns on security as well as trainings on best practices.
• Raise awareness and provide trainings about IT Security, to ensure knowledge transfer and minimize the risks within the company.

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, engineering, or a related field.
• You have 3-5 years of experience in security or IT Governance management. Working experience in SaaS and/or EdTech companies is a plus.
• Good knowledge of all IT technical components and experience in SaaS environments.
• Demonstrable evidence of analyzing, documenting and re-engineering complex business processes.
• Good knowledge in documenting business requirements.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with end users and senior management.
• Fluency in French and English.
