We are looking for our PreSales Engineer for the West Africa region (Ivory Coast and bordering countries) who will be based in Abidjan or remote.

Reporting to the Pre-Sales Manager A-Team, your main mission will be to provide technical support to the sales engineers on the African continent to help them during contract negotiations. You will sell the technical advantages of WALLIX solutions to prospects / customers to best meet a project. You will be required to cover a large territory with frequent travel throughout the African continent.

The position:

• Provide technical support to sales engineers to assist them in contract negotiations:

  * Identify and qualify needs ;* Participate in the definition of the strategy of a response ;* Develop and configure an architecture (POC) ;* Present solutions and architectures ;* Write the technical files of answers ;* Support the offers;* Carry out demonstrations, in mock-up or evaluation platform;

• Be the partner’s reference (indirect approach),

  * Assist in the qualification of a project;* Assist in the development of an architecture;* Answer questions requiring technical expertise or knowledge of the solution roadmap;* Play the role of expert for the manufacturer during the bidding process;* Leading regular technical seminars with the technical and sales teams of partners or consultants; 

• Be the reference expert internally:

  * Actively collaborate in the development of technical and commercial strategies to develop sales of security solutions for partners or projects.* Assist in the qualification of a project;* Assist in the development of architecture;* Answer questions requiring technical or technological expertise or knowledge of the solutions roadmap;* Possibly lead training and presentation sessions.

You:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in this type of position within a software integrator / editor, ideally in the field of cybersecurity
• Speak English and French
• Have a technical background such as an engineering school
• Like to travel and are not afraid of frequent trips over a large territory
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and you like to find the argument that hits home with the customer/prospect…
