As an International Business Developer, your role will be to boost our international footprint with broker partners, MGAs, insurtech, fintech & retailers.

Within a team of Business Developers and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Define and manage an active BD process internationally with prospects or existing partners, in particular with insurtechs/fintechs and retailers/marketplaces.
  • Set up a watch on Development countries as well as on partners/prospects which targeting to expand internationally.
  • Study business opportunities, then ensure their proper implementation while respecting the Company’s guidelines (subscription guide and production process) and monitor the lifecycle of the partnerships’ portfolio.
  • Contribute to the formalization of a Wakam International Business Development plan in line with the team objective.
  • Promote the Wakam service offering to prospects and partners and be a proactive player in its development.

Profil recherché

  • A 5-years academic level is desired in International Business/Insurance field.
  • 5+ years of experience in international Insurance business. Experience with selling B2B2C API’s digital Insurance or software industry is a plus.
  • An International Reinsurance/Brokerage network is a plus.
  • Speaking a fluent English is mandatory for this role. An additional language would be appreciated.
  • Positive energy, resilience, capacity to summarize, and team spirit are essential to support Wakam in its hyper-growth.

1) 1st discussion with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to analyze the fit with our culture and teams
2) Meeting with the Chief Revenue Officer
3) Meeting with two members of the BD team
4) Meeting with the product / delivery / technical teams

Considering the current context, the recruitment process will be entirely done remotely
