The Mission

Wakam is providing white-labeled insurance products for its distributors. Data integration is at the heart of our business model. Within our data office in the squad dedicated to the Data Governance, **the Data Architect is responsible for mapping all technical data flows with business outcomes.

As part of its role, the Data Architect will be responsible for the coherence of all data flows within Wakam and also with its external ecosystem. Starting from scratch, the new incumbent will draw the data flows currently happening between all applications of our portfolio, in addition to the main data shared within those flows. Then, he/she will share the to-be situation and propose a roadmap to achieve our objectives. Finally, he/she will put in place regular processes to update data architecture.

The Data Architect will also take part in our project upgrading our data platform**.

Your role

• Implementation of good practices for the development of Data projects, particularly on the structure of the data model
• Automation/urbanization of data flows entering and leaving the Datahub, our centralized data repository
• Deployment of the Data governance tools

• Engineering degree or Master 2 related to Data Management/Architecture
• Demonstrated professional experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar position
• Experience with implementing Data projects (BI or integration)
• In-depth knowledge of the principles of database structure
• Experience in collecting and analyzing system requirements
• Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
• Good knowledge of data visualization tools
• Fluent English speaking is mandatory
• Knowledge of Insurance problems is a plus
• Proven analytical skills & Problem-solving attitude
• Good communication skills, ability to popularize and explain
• Rigorous, pragmatic and client focus

• Ability to evolve in a constant changing organization
