Context

You are joining the Enablement Office of Wakam, the leader of digital insurance in Europe. The position offers an excellent platform to get broad exposure to senior management and be at the front line of new business developments within Wakam, thus opening various international career steps.

You ensure the CEO’s organizational excellence, access to key information and resources, and the management of corporate or external initiatives. Your actions enable the CEO to be more productive, more effective, more impactful internally and externally for the benefit of Wakam and the Executive Leadership Team.

Missions

Tasks include:

  • Represent the CEO and liaise with other top managers ;
  • Draw attention and alert the CEO to the priority changes, upcoming topics, risks…: maximize corporate effectiveness and business processes by supporting CEO to focus on the right topics at the right time with the right people and the right information ;
  • Assess requests (operations, business, process, agenda) directed to CEO and determine the proper course of actions with the appropriate stakeholders and follow up ;
  • With PA, organize strategic planning of CEO calendar by identifying and prioritizing essential matters to be addressed across the organization to drive performance ;
  • Prepare agendas of all committees chaired by CEO, ensure presentation ready on time, issue minutes and keep log of instructions and decisions ;
  • Attend all other committees chaired by Chiefs on behalf of CEO to ensure full coordination and strong interaction with the business ;
  • Prepare business briefing and presentation with the appropriate stakeholders ;
  • Serve as a communication and information channel between CEO and the organization in addition to necessary direct communication with CEO ;
  • Prepare communication & thought leadership activities (employee engagement, speeches…)
  • Ensure all projects are addressed properly and keep track of progress to resolution ;
  • Provide quality research and intelligence on strategic matters when requested (competitors, market facts and figures, innovation trends) ;
  • Actively participate in projects/initiatives as directed by the CEO requiring project management skills and analysis ;
  • Build a network of external contacts to develop business opportunities ;
  • Ensure that the expected level of service is always delivered ;
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all dealings with the CEO.

Profil recherché

  • Top tiers business school and a previous experience in top tiers consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain…) are a plus
  • Good understanding of the insurance business and/or technology industry (API, SaaS, blockchain…) are a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to establish relationships with all levels of organization
  • Extremely structured and organized approach towards work, with strong attention to details
  • Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changes in plans / moving priorities
  • Fast learner and curiosity
  • Solution-oriented
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment with good resistance to stress
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically excellent skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
