Your assignment

Valiantys is looking for his/her PreSales Engineer!

You are looking for a position that can combine your technical skills and your commercial temperament, all in an ambitious company on a human scale.

Reporting to the Head of Presales for Europe and in collaboration with Business Unit Sales leader and Professional Services leader, you will support our sales team with our customers on technical aspects.  After a solid training to the Atlassian solutions suite (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket...), you will be so excited by the possibilities offered by the Atlassian tools that promoting them to the customers will be a real pleasure.

Things you'll be working on

You will be responsible for the technical dimension of appointments and commercial proposals. Your main tasks will be :

- Assume the technical dimension of customer meetings: you will accompany the sales representatives during meetings with customers in order to analyze their needs, answer technical questions and recommend the most appropriate solution

- Write the technical aspects: you will think and write the technical and functional part of the commercial proposals and answers to the invitations to tender

- Animate demonstrations: you will ensure product demonstrations on site or remotely (PoC)

- Be an ambassador: you will participate in various events in the ecosystem like Webinars, trade shows, conferences, etc.

- Provide reporting: you will provide regular reports on your activity

- Participating in the continuous improvement of the pre-sales tools and processes (i.e. demo instances, data samples, etc.)  

You will be required to travel punctually to customers in France or abroad.

Don't forget to come with your ideas to improve the process of responding to customer calls for tender!

- How the presales process can be more efficient and effective

- Determining the critical aspects of the sales cycle, by gathering and understanding customer needs

- Providing technical and functional guidance, presenting and advocating the appropriate solution

- Determining collaborative working processes with consultants and the sales team to create and deliver winning solutions

- Assessing how the presales team can contribute to Marketing activities (eg. webinars, generating content, and more)

- What the sales offer templates and documentation should look like for a successful submission

What you need to be successful

 

Your great strength will be your ability to evolve and interact with a multidisciplinary and motivated team of sales representatives and experts.

You like to find the best possible technical solution and the right arguments to convince your interlocutors. 

To have the necessary technical culture(Agile, DevOps, ITSM, Atlassian tools), you have studied computer science and you can justify a first experience in software development, project management, consulting development and even better in presales.

You speak English and French fluently.

The knowledge of collaborative tools and Agile methods will allow you to be quickly at ease with Atlassian tools and our service offer. 

In order to have the necessary technical culture, you have studied computer science and you can justify a 3y experience minimum in software development or project management.
