Too Good To Go is the world’s number 1 app for fighting food waste and present in 15 countries now. We reduce food waste by making surplus food from any food stores available to citizens. The magic of Too Good To Go has been spreading rapidly across Europe, with over 20 million meals saved just in France! 

We have big, big plans to grow rapidly and build an always stronger and bigger team of the most engaged and talented Waste Warriors always in order to fight against food waste. 

We’re looking for an exceptional Intern to join the Field Sales team at Too Good To Go in France.

Your mission:

As an Intern in our Field Sales team, you are responsible for approaching and convincing as many independent stores as possible in “secondary cities” in France (Lille, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Metz, Nancy, Rennes, Dijon, etc.).

You will be based in Paris (70%) and spend time out in the field to close the deal (30%).

Your role:

  • Learn how to develop a strategy to build a robust network of independent stores (sourcing, prospecting, referrals)
  • Mapping & Building a network: Mapping out Too Good To Go opportunities, connecting and creating strong relationships with all potential partners.
  • Prospecting and negotiation: Develop a strong knowledge of your prospects; by investigating by phone, by going into the field or  other creative ways in order to offer them the most suitable offer to convince them to join Too Good To Go and fight against food waste!
  • Onboarding: make sure that stores give us all necessary information, so you can add the account to the app,  improve the follow up through reporting and data, set corrective actions to improve food waste reduction performance. You may organize in-store training session for the launch of Too Good To Go. 
  • Following up with the stores: you will keep the relation with the stores to set things up well with them and maximize their impact - create a real ambassadors network and make sure they use our solution in the best way possible. 
  • Being the reference Outbound expert of your team, and the ambassador of Too Good To Go. You will  share  with the rest of your team your learning in the field (specific organization in stores, new arguments to convince store owners, important people to reach out to, new efficient acquisition channels…) in order to constantly improve our offer. You will be the real Outbound expert!

Profil recherché

Your Profile:

  • A previous internship experience in outbound /field sales is a plus.
  • So is having contacts with food stores.
  • You love being alone on the road and convincing people is your passion.
  • You never give up, you have a high-energy and result-oriented working style.
  • You are independent, an amazing organizer, know how to efficiently prioritize tasks and how to handle several projects at a time.
  • You want to learn how to lead negotiations, create and deliver high impact pitches. Excellent commercial acumen.
  • You have a sense of community and you know how to engage people.
  • You are self-motivated and love to be challenged.
  • You are structured, organized and diligent.
  • You are a good communicator and an excellent listener.
  • You’re fluent in French and comfortable in English.
