We are actively looking to recruit a The Senior Product Manager to be part of TISSIUM’s Nerve Franchise. The Senior Product Manager will identify, develop and implement product strategies, marketing plans, promotional programs and related activities for the Nerve product lines. The person in this role will also lead execution of Launch initiatives and programs for assigned products.

The Senior Product Manager will report to the Head of Nerve Solutions. The position is preferably based in Boston, USA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support development and execution of product marketing plans, inclusive of preparing objectives, strategies, tactics, projections (short and long-term). Includes an immediate focus on the development, refinement and execution of Product Launch plans to support market entry (digital & tangible).
  • Lead and support product brand development initiatives as well as market opportunity assessments by defining and executing market research, interviewing KOLs, developing revenue models.
  • Support product development progress with engineering, manufacturing, regulatory affairs and related departments to ensure product line objectives are achieved on a timely basis
  • Support planning and execution of Product Development and training labs (bench, animal, and cadaveric) with TISSIUM with surgeons.
  • Serve as an internal and external Product Expert:

    • Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge by regular review of the literature, traveling with field sales/marketing personnel, attending surgeries, etc.
    • Generate promotional materials: Synthesizes publications and complex medical information to develop surgical technique guides, product-oriented positioning documents, product profiles, competitive analysis, presentations, demos, white papers, product updates and content for marketing vehicles such as websites, brochures, trainings, and seminars;
    • Keep others informed by maintaining and distributing data, competitive comparisons and evaluations, as needed.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge to develop and maintain strategic KOL and customer relationships.
  • Drive creation and lead execution of impactful, targeted marketing, training, and professional education programs across supported markets with the support of crossfunctional stakeholders:

    • Engage surgeons and technology stakeholders to develop core materials and programs.
    • Lead and support teams (internal and external) to execute on events
    • Compile post-event reports for communication to ELT.

ENVIRONMENT & INTERACTIONS

  • Support Market Access/Reimbursement strategy development and program execution.
  • Support preparation of annual budget forecasts for the marketing functions related to the product line(s)
  • Collaborate on strategic sales and marketing planning for assigned products to identify key targets, surgeons, and hospitals by specific product
  • Collaborates with sales to ensure a high quality of sales support in terms of new product/market introductions, sales training programs, key surgeon/key account field visits and regular communication, both responsive as well as proactive
  • Support alignment and prioritization of resources to local marketing needs. Monitors forecasts as necessary and works collaboratively with other departments to ensure product availability throughout the lifecycle of the product.
  • Performs other duties as defined with the Head of Nerve Solutions.

Profil recherché

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or technical field mandatory. MBA or PhD preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience within the medical device industry, including a minimum of 4+ years of direct marketing experience; Sales experience appreciated.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of US markets and healthcare systems
  • Operating room experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with development of marketing, market access, and sales strategies as well as product launch plans.
  • Boston-based, with remote considered.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
