What are your missions?

As the Global Marketing Manager Strategy & Capabilities, you report to the Global Director of Marketing Excellence. Your main responsibility is to make TheFork a better business. You’ll do that by defining, and supporting the execution of the Global Growth Playbook that will position TheFork as the indisputable global leader in the online restaurant booking category. As simple, as challenging, and as exciting as that. 

In order to achieve that ambitious goal, you’ll need to:

  • Lead, support and conduct in-depth analysis to define the main drivers of our user acquisition, retention and re-engagement strategy.
  • Define our Master Marketing KPI Scorecard, rooted on deep understanding of our users, customers and category.
  • Create a set of compelling Marketing planning tools and processes that ensure better anticipation, control and accountability of our growth goals.
  • Define the right internal and external capabilities that will enable our central and local teams making better and faster business decisions. Examples of internal capabilities would be: Marketing business trackers, Marketing business processes, common analytical methodologies. Examples of external capabilities would be: define the right external partners that will improve the way we do business (Data.ai, SEMRush, etc.).
  • Be directly involved in the execution of your recommended plans, continuously supporting and partnering with the central Marketing, local Marketing and central Data teams. That will be key to landing our ambition in each and everyone of our markets.

What you bring to the table

  • +5 years of professional experience in Marketing, Strategy or Analytics. Previous experience in a pure digital/ecommerce industry is definitely a plus.
  • Global experience.
  • Team player, with great collaboration skills, and proven track record coordinating cross-functional global teams.
  • Humble and positive mindset. Active listener, eager to learn.
  • Highly analytical person, always basing your decisions and recommendations on data and facts. When required, you’re also confident enough to make decisions with limited information at hand, trusting your experience, business acumen and gut feeling. 

Other considerations for the role

  • Language: Being fluent in English is a must. French, Spanish and Italian are a plus.
  • Expert level in Office / Google Workspace.
  • Ninja expertise in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
  • SQL expertise. 
  • Possible locations: Barcelona, Paris, Milan.
