    The textile industry today
    In full reinvention of new business models, challenged by the environmental, social and economic challenge, the textile industry offers many opportunities!
    Securing and making supply more flexible are the fundamental subjects to accompany the industry in this change and the construction of sustainable fashion.
    New technologies now make it possible to optimise production quantities as much as possible by producing in real time according to consumer needs.
    Industrial constraints (minimum production) are disappearing in favour of high-performance technological tools and an efficient digital chain.

    About TEKYN
    Created two and a half years ago, TEKYN is a start up of Fashion Tech which offers, thanks to new technologies, a turnkey service for the production of clothing on demand in Europe.
    TEKYN has won the ANDAM 2020 innovation prize for its disruptive business model and solution !
    We develop robotics and software allowing the massive and perennial take-off of on-demand garment manufacturing on industrial quantities.
    Founded by 2 experienced entrepreneurs, the TEKYN team federates about thirty people, engineers, business developers, stylists, etc. around its vision of a more efficient and responsible fashion through technology. We work every day to make our organization more human, decentralized and help each team member to increase his autonomy.

    The position
    TEKYN is now looking for a European Head of sales to build partnerships, strengthen its communication and visibility.

    Job description

    Missions :

    • Commercial development in Europe, with priority given to Germany and Northern Europe.
    • Develop a B to B portfolio in the field and open new accounts.
    • define a commercial strategy and action plans
    • manage the entire sales cycle, from project detection to partnerships negotiation
    • understand market expectations in order to propose ways to improve the offer
    • potentially lead a team of business developers in Europe
    • Communication on all European social networks
    • Participation in European fairs and digital events (Webinar, Masterclass…) to boost TEKYN’s visibility in Europe.

    Preferred experience

    Profile sought:

    • Perfectly bilingual in English French,
    • Business school training at Master’s level
    • Strong ability to convince and negotiate, enthusiasm and perseverance.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for challenge, autonomous and efficient.
    • High mobility between France-Germany.
    • A minimum of 5 years experience in a textile brand (group leader, purchasing department).
    • Mastering social networks
    • Motivated by a fast-growing and agile startup environment
