About the Role:
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support our BI and reporting ecosystem. You will work with Adverity (ETL), Google BigQuery, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot to deliver reliable marketing insights, maintain analytics datasets, and support business users through clear communication and enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse marketing and media data and assess its impact on Nissan business performance.
Perform data validation, quality checks, and transformations in Adverity (ETL) and BigQuery.
Maintain and optimise analytics datasets used for reporting.
Build and maintain Tableau dashboards.
Create and manage ThoughtSpot Liveboards and support search-driven analytics.
Define and document KPIs and metrics used in dashboards.
Ensure consistency and reliability of KPIs across reports.
Prepare presentations for training purposes and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
Run training sessions and demos for business users on dashboards, Liveboards, and data usage.
Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders.
Support business users in interpreting dashboards and answering data-related questions.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or marketing analytics.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
Experience with Tableau or similar BI/visualisation tools.
Experience working with cloud data warehouses, preferably Google BigQuery.
Familiarity with ETL/data integration tools (e.g., Adverity) and data validation processes.
Understanding of marketing and media performance metrics (traffic, conversions, leads, campaign performance).
Experience defining and validating KPIs and reporting metrics.
Ability to analyse data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Confidence presenting dashboards, running training sessions, or demos for business users.
Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding data quality and consistency across reports.
Nice to have
Experience with ThoughtSpot or search-driven analytics tools.
Basic Python knowledge for data analysis or automation.
Experience working with digital marketing or media platform data (Adobe Analytics, media platforms, etc.).
