The role & responsibilities

  • The Business Development Manager will take ownership of Sysnav’s sales growth in the healthcare market and will drive the business across the full sales cycle, with a focus on acquisition.
  • The role reports to the Healthcare program director and Sales & Marketing director.

More precisely, the responsibilities include:

  • Maximizing impact of lead generation by collaborating with Marketing and Product to develop and execute effective sales prospecting campaigns.
  • Qualifying, developing, and closing key-strategic deals with international companies from the clusters of biotech & pharma companies (Boston, San Francisco, Basel, Tokyo, etc.), to driving ambitious sustainable revenue in the Healthcare market.
  • Building long-term relationships with our clients, help them achieve their clinical research programs, ensure high satisfaction levels and continuously educate them on the possibilities and benefits of our technology.
  • Implementing disciplined approach to managing sales activity, including sales pipeline management, individual opportunity management, sales forecasting, etc.
  • Reflecting and reporting on sales effectiveness to recommend program adjustments and product strategy evolution as necessary.
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure messaging alignment, operational coordination, and evangelization of the strategy.
  • Analyzing and understanding the needs of prospects and customers and feeding information back to Sysnav’s management (program management, product development management, sales & marketing leadership, and company CEO).

Profil recherché

  • Master’s degree in business administration from a Tier 1-2 Business Management School. A double degree in Business and Life Science is a plus.
  • At least 4 years of experience in international sales or international business development in high-tech companies.
  • A strong interest for digital transformation of the pharma industry and clinical trials.
  • Exceptional skills around self-organization and communication (orally and in writing)
  • A passion for understanding customers/prospects and their problems.
  • Proven negotiation abilities, closing commercial deals and partnerships.
  • Full fluency in English & French
