As a Site Reliability Engineer at Swissquote and active member of the SRE Automation team, your main mission will be to supercharge delivery, automate processes and promote the self-service platform !

Working with both Software Engineering and IT Departments, you will help the team to facilitate the project delivery pipelines (CICD), ensure the automation and evolution of platform processes (APIs, CLIs, GitOPS), and enable the adoption of platform self-service model (Config-as-code, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, Helm, Docker, ArgoCD). 

The IT SRE Automation team encourage autonomy, education and continuous improvements for all the team members in an Agile and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Autonomy on projects and proposals based on research
• Own post-build CI/CD pipelines
• Provide cross team, cross department automation tools related to CI/CD
• Publish & Maintain platform state metadata and events via APIs
• Identify and automate manual processes to reduce toil
• Publish and maintain state metadata via APIs
• Research, proposition and evolve platform tools
• Abstract platform access into APIs, CLIs and config-as-code
• Define standardized, reusable templates for classic & kubernetes deployments
• Provide delivery runbooks for easy application onboarding & maintenance

• Normalize way of developing IT tools and scripts

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science OR related technical field experience involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), OR equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience OR portfolio projects in one of more of the following: SRE or DevOps Position, Software Development, Systems Administration or IT Operations
• Experience in one or more of the following: Python, Perl, GO, Rust, Bash, Java.
• Experience using different flavors of *nix (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, SLES, Solaris, CentOS)
• Experience and Interest for CICD, gitops, Cloud (Kubernetes) and self service workflows
• Experience with IaaS and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Puppet
• Experience working with Kubernetes
• Ability to communicate to collect and share knowledge within and outside the team
• Proactive, enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills, technologies and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French is an asset
