Le poste

Descriptif du poste

Swan is seeking a Product Designer Apprentice to join its Product team and contribute to building the simplest and most elegant BaaS (Banking-as-a-Service) on the market. The Design team’s mission is to make it easy for our partners, who are new to the banking sector, to integrate complex payment services into their products.

We are looking for someone with a taste for UI and design systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous follow-up, updating, and maintenance of our UI requirements while also keeping other teams informed about UI and visual needs.

Your mission

  • Help and improve “Lake,” our Product Design system.

  • Engage in discussions, exchange ideas, and document Product Management UI needs.

  • Update and maintain documentation for our design system to ensure clarity and accessibility.

  • Translate Front-end and Product Management requirements into the “Lake” design system.

  • Create visual assets that are compatible with “Lake,” maintaining consistency.

  • Ensure a seamless user experience across devices by integrating responsive mobile design elements into “Lake”.

  • Provide occasional support to Brand and Visual design teams as needed.

  • Participate in ensuring Swan’s “voice and tone” shine through the product.

Your team

This position will act as a bridge across teams, working closely with our Lead Designer and Product Designer, and fostering collaboration between product management, product design, and front-end development teams. The role will be based in Paris.

  • You are a student in your 2nd or 3rd year in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or similar design-related program.

  • Strong UI design skills, with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly product designs.

  • You are rigorous and have an eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in Figma is essential. Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Front-end Integration is a plus. As well as knowledge of Vectorial Design.

  • Proactive learner with an interest in product and UI trends.

  • Excellent team player, comfortable collaborating with multiple teams in an international environment.

  • Excellent working abilities in English. French are a plus.

  • Our ideal teammate: Empathetic. Skilled. Frank. We love to challenge each other, and we leave our egos at the door.
