The Banking team at Swan leverages industry knowledge and payments expertise to build and operate the banking platform that fuels money movement for all Swan products.

As a key member of Swan’s Banking team, you participate in the construction, optimization, and management of the company’s banking platform, incl. payment methods & rails, financial partnerships, and banking operations-related processes & tools.

Your responsibilities include:

Product Management (75%)

You are accountable for building the right products, holding our product quality bar to the highest level, while increasing STP (Straight-Through-Processing) rate and maintaining operational risk at the lowest possible level. You help integrate banking complexity while keeping it simple for Swan’s partners and end-users:

  • Work closely with our partners, engineers, product managers, and designers to build and roll-out our banking products/features and rails: new payment methods (partner APIs, integration with external financial providers, etc.), new payment features (Just-In-Time Funding, etc.), new banking communication channels, cash centralization/working capital-related infrastructure and processes, internal back-office tools & processes
  • Help set an ambitious roadmap for Banking-related product/features

Run Management (25%)

You participate in the daily processing of payment transactions and the related accounting & regulatory obligations of our Electronic Money Institution:

  • Execute manual payment transactions (<0.01% of total transactions) - our payment processes are almost fully automated
  • Manage and solve operational incidents together with internal (ex: Engineering) and external (ex: partner banks, card scheme) stakeholders
  • Produce and send regulatory & non-regulatory reportings: accouting exports, regulatory reports, card schemes/X-Pay specific reportings, etc.
  • Perform level-1 controls (monthly frequency for most of them)
  • Support other teams on all banking-related questions/issues
  • Create/maintain operational procedures

Profil recherché

  • Pre-requisite: strong knowledge of the payments industry
  • 3+ years experience in product management, managing end-to-end product lifecycles from discovery to release, or relevant experience in an operations/technical account manager role in the Fintech/neo-banking industry
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to work with and become a subject matter expert in a complex product
  • Tech-savvy, with a passion for everything tech and product
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent team player within an international environment, and fun to work with
  • Flexibility with changing requirements in an evolving and fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English
