Let's talk about the Courier Operations Team ⭐️

The Courier Operations team's mission is to provide a seamless experience for the tens of thousands of couriers that operate on the Stuart platform, and to ensure they deliver the best service to our clients and their end customers. Together, we build the processes that define the couriers' journey with us: how to be onboarded as a Stuwie and what to expect during a delivery, how and how much they are paid, and what the next app feature should be! We strive to understand their main challenges so we can keep improving; we aim to be the best platform for couriers and to equip them with all the right tools to achieve their goals.📦 🌍

We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to join a newly formed Efficiency team reporting to Divya Bhatia, our Head of Courier Efficiency.

What will I be doing? 🤔

  • Strategy and roadmap: Own the roadmap for your area and build and improve the processes by which cross-functional stakeholders can surface their needs and challenges for the tools owned by your team
  • Identify opportunities: Build an understanding of the business and courier problems we should go after; work with stakeholders to identify and analyze opportunities to improve our tools and translate these into clear user stories for the Automation team
  • Build and ship: Partner with the Automation team in Business Operations to plan the execution of new functionality and improvements, ensuring the team is working on the biggest problem/opportunity spaces
  • Manage stakeholders: Own internal and external stakeholder relationships, including couriers and 3rd party providers, understand their needs and expectations to make sure they are clear on business drivers, expectations and challenges the team is delivering to
  • Monitor and measure: Work closely with the analytics team to calibrate and surface the impact of developments on core business metrics. Use data to continually inform iterations and enhancements
  • Shape the team: Contribute to shaping the team and implementing best-in-class practices as the team expands
  • What do we need from you? 😎

  • Experiences with roadmap planning, prioritization, user journey mapping, requirements gathering
  • Have technical savviness: experiences working with an engineering team, a STEM undergraduate degree, or a strong interest in learning how to build digital products
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • The stuff you wanna know 😉

  • Family-friendly work-life balance - work from home and flexible hours 🏡 🧑🏻‍💻
  • Meal Vouchers (£200 monthly) 🥗 🍇
  • Unlimited access to Udemy for all your learning and development needs 📚
  • Stuart Academy with regular workshops, Stu-Classes, and Stu-Talks 🎓
  • Stuart is putting Mental Health Awareness first! Wellness Allowance (£40 monthly) to use in any gym or sport class
  • Annual company offsite – last time it was in Ibiza (2019) ✈️ 🏝
  • Private healthcare provided byAXA health (including dental and optical) 🧑‍⚕️
  • Pension took care of through a partnership with Royal London
  • Work in an international, diverse, dynamic and passionate team 🌍
  • Lunchtime sports: 5 a side football Fridays, squash Thursdays, tons of other team building activities such as after work, ping-pong, Mario Kart tournaments, cooking classes and meetups! 🎮 👩🏾‍🍳
  • 5 months of maternity leave covered by Stuart! 🤰🏻
  • You’ve read all this way but you’re missing a skill or two? No problem, it’s our job to up-skill you to take your career to the next level. What we’re trying to say is, don’t be afraid to apply if you don’t tick all the boxes.  💪
