The principal missions of the Assistant Engineer R&D post are:

To support the expansion of our product portfolio and their transition towards in-vitro diagnostics, we are seeking an Assistant Engineer for our growing R&D team.

• Carry out and ensure the completion of diverse priority R&D experiments as defined by the R&D program.
• Participate in assay development projects as defined by the R&D manager
• Interface with all R&D teams to carry out troubleshooting experiments aimed at resolving R&D issues, verifying or validating material.
• Help to ensure the supply and the validation of R&D reagents
• Participate to ensure the validation of R&D Geodes (semi-annually or after reparation).
• Document and ensure the traceability of all performed experiments and their results.
• Contribute to improving, writing and maintaining updated molecular biology lab protocols.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has a BTS/License specializing in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related disciplines
• Has at least 4 years of proven experience in Molecular Biology, particularly in the following techniques: qPCR, dPCR, DNA and RNA manipulation, PCR data analysis.
• Must be adaptable, organized and rigorous.
• Exhibits a strong team spirit, taking the initiative to help out others if needed .
• Has excellent communication skills and is open to sharing information and knowledge
• Feels responsible for the advancement of projects, high data quality and meeting deadlines.
• Must be fluent in French and technical English.
• Skilled at multi-tasking and working flexibly around schedules in a fast-pace environment.
• Is motivated by ambitious objectives and willing to bring significant contributions to science and medicine!

PhD and Master diplomas are over-qualified for this position and candidatures will not be
considered.
