As Project & Event Manager, you imagine and implement Startup Jobfair events. Your responsibilities will include:

• organising the monthly event in Brussels
• defining the growth strategy of the Startup Jobfair
• finding new locations in Flanders and Wallonia to help the Startup Jobfair become a national event
• recruiting new startups to participate in the event
• building partnership with corporates and public institutions
• finding new financial sources and revenue stream
• you collaborate closely with the other SF’s team in order to ensure the best promotion, design and recruitment of your events.
• you ensure the success of your conferences by supervising the related operations (content, venue, agenda, catering, etc.)
• Performing the necessary analysis and reporting in order to ensure constant improvement and the highest attendee’s satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will meet the following requirement:

• You have outstanding organisation skills - you have a real project management approach. You are autonomous, able to work against close deadlines and are solutions-oriented. You are enthusiastic and love a good challenge
• You are a born communicator - able to convince your audience and are not afraid of calling people you never met before
• You are able to bring a fresh perspective on topics and dare to tackle innovative new ones
• You have a real affinity with the digital world (social networks, tools, collaborative spaces).
• You have a bachelor or master’s degree
• Fluency in one of the national langages is MANDATORY. Having both NL and FR would be a great asset

1) Call of 15 min with the COO @Startup Factory
2) Face to face: prepare a short pitch about your vision of the Jobfair (we will provide you with some information, don’t worry)
3) Face to face with Startup Factory management!
