About the team

This role will fall into the integrations squad, you will contribute to make sure Spendesk can integrate and interact with third party software our clients are working with.

The team is already established and in the squad you will find a Product Manager, a Product Designer and 4-6 Engineers (Backend and Fullstack). Together you will collaborate in outlining, shaping, and implementing the best solution for our end users.

Your work is not only about writing code, you will be a great team player of collaboration: making the team better every day is your mantra! Needless to say that by joining our team as Software Engineer you'll get to work closely with anyone across the company and every decision you'll make may have an impact.

Our stack is mainly composed of TypeScript, Node, React, MySQL & PostgreSQL, AWS (SQS, S3, Glacier), Terraform & Kubernetes and GitHub (even for the CI).

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver complex features with quality and autonomy by defining and implementing technical solutions.
  • Be part of  the robustness of the product, by taking care of the maintenance, fixing bugs or iterating some of the solutions.
  • Add new capabilities, new possibilities for our customer and work in new integrations.
  • Write not only quality code, but also clear, organized and non biased.
  • Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments.
  • Who are we looking for:

  • 2+ years of software development experience.
  • Willingness to use Typescript. Experience with this language is beneficial but not a necessity.
  • Passionate about product aspects, transforming ambiguous needs into concrete and impactful technical solutions.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English - it is our business language.
  • As we are an international team, please submit your application and CV in English.
