As the new Talent Manager of Sorare, you’ll build the best consumer team in Europe and create the environment for these top talents to thrive.

You won’t be asked to hire fast, you’d be asked to hire the best. We love "How to Hire A–Players" and apply the method all along the recruiting experience, but are very open to be challenged. You won’t be told what to do, or what playbook to follow.

You’ll create your own rules and the best place to work.

Responsibilities

As Talent Manager at Sorare, you'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and scaling our recruiting efforts (via our inbound pipeline, direct sourcing, and through external recruiters), with the goal of establishing a robust pipeline of diverse talent and grow the team from 15 to 40 people this year.
  • Crafting our interview process, as well as our employee onboarding and offboarding processes, with a particular focus on new-hire experience.
  • Partnering with the founders and leveraging external data sources to develop job descriptions, career ladders, and comp plans for all current and future roles in the company.
  • Managing and expanding our employee benefits and perks, and (in partnership with external consultants) ensuring we stay in compliance with all local employment laws, etc.
  • Developing systems to routinely deliver random acts of kindness, such as meaningful letters or small, thoughtful gifts to the team over the course of the year (birthdays, work anniversaries, etc.). We love being proactive in showing that we truly care about everyone at Sorare!
  • Adapting quickly to new challenges and new orders of magnitude of scale, so we can bring Sorare to dozens of millions of fans!

Requirements

  • Prior experience doing the full circle of hiring: from first interview to close, including coordination
  • Prior experience in a startup (you scaled a team from less than 30 people to 60+)
  • Previous experience with ATSs (we currently use Workable)
  • Desire to work in Paris full-time
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills (English and French)
