Global Banking & Advisory (GLBA) department of SG Luxembourg is in charge of providing innovative financial solutions, combining various financial instruments, in order to ensure the best regulatory, tax and accounting terms for internal and externals clients.

Our targeted clients are Corporates Banks, financial institutions, and investment funds (in their capacity as issuers) Governments, public authorities, and international institutions.

We cover for these clients:
• All types of specialized financing offered by Global Banking Investment Services involving bank lending
• Tailor-made structured solutions and leasing to support strategic operations
• Securitization and funding of securitized products in the context of the Asset Backed Products activities
• The monitoring of counterparty risk and of cross-selling for clients falling within its scope as Primary Client Responsibility Unit (PCRU)

GLBA platform is worldwide with expert teams across France and Europe, the CEEMEA region, the Americas and Asia.
• Perform the ID Card of our Special Purposes Vehicles (SPV) including their internal risk rating
• Contribute to the board management pack of these SPV to ensure the management oversights properly the risk attached to the SPV
• Contribute to the preparation of the Delegated Services Committees to mitigate the risk attached to this delegation
• Contribute to the completion of Controls Needs attached to the GLBA Luxembourg perimeter to mitigate the risk of the activity

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance or Business Administration

Language skills:
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong listening and analytical skills
• Proactivity, spearheading of proposals

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
