In 2021, we grew very quickly (Annual revenue x3, team x2) and we’re aiming to triple again in 2022. Combo has a team of 70 today, with strong Sales, CSM, Ops and Product teams… but the Marketing team is only just getting started (3 people at the start of 2022, 9 in June!).

This means you get to join a young and agile marketing team where everything is yet to build, in an established and fast-growing company with the resources and vision to create something we can be proud of.

As our Video Maker, you’ll be joining the new Brand & Content team and working with most teams at Combo. Your role will be to turn Combo into the leading HR brand for SMBs, and help turn complicated topics (HR, social and employment laws) into something approachable. Through strong videos and storytelling, you’ll support all facets of the business: content, product marketing, social media, HR, CSM, events…

In a nutshell, we’re aiming to help SMBs across Europe make sense of HR. Less admin, more human. And we’re looking for the right person to help us translate that visually, in a way that’s engaging, positive, and makes us stand out.

Missions

As Video Maker, you’ll:

  • Understand and prioritise video needs from all teams, review and update existing assets
  • Handle video creation from A to Z: story boarding, shooting, post production, publication
  • Add some punch, clarity and creativity to our marketing assets (articles, decks, candidate book) with the right video content
  • Adapt video content to various channels (socials, youtube, DOOH) and international markets
  • Support our product and feature launches with video explainers
  • Make sure every video is aligned with our brand guidelines
  • Continuously test new formats and creative styles
  • Create templates and guidelines for recurring formats and video types
  • Create a reporting and optimisation process for video performance with our content and marketing ops people

What we’re looking for

  • A strong and varied portfolio is the main thing we’re looking for: you have a track record of creating content for Social Media, HR branding, content series, product videos, potentially a YouTube channel…
  • You’re obviously super creative, but also rigorous and precise
  • You master Premiere Pro. Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator are a bonus.
  • Knowing how to take photos and use Lightroom would be a real plus
  • You’re a fan of tech and are always looking at new plugins or software to test
  • You know what it’s like working in a startup, and ideally have worked with a SMB or B2C target audience
  • You’re autonomous & organised
  • Native French speaker
  • English would be a nice plus

Hiring process :

The job is open in the Nantes and Paris offices

Step 1 : 30min intro call with our HR manager
Step 2 : 1 hour interview with the Head of Brand + 30min interview with the Marketing team
Step 3 : Video skill test
Step 4 : Culture fit interview (CEO, Head of Marketing)
