Smart’s software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that empower our customers to reach their digital business goals. They grow in a demanding environment that values performance and high availability: our platform manages over 150 Billion bid requests per day and our dataset is about 5 petabytes in Hadoop.

Our innovation team based in Paris and Nantes is composed by 80 straightforward and energetic individuals working in an Agile environment and ready to tackle the most complex technical challenges.

Key day-to-day responsibilities👇

As part of our data-science team your missions will be to:

• Improve existing algorithms to analyse increasing volumes of data and provide accurate feedback on Smart’s activities

• Build new prediction models for high dimensional data

• Identify key prediction issues and propose innovative solutions

• Brainstorm with the other team members to improve existing optimization systems

Tech house: Python, Tensorflow, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes

About you 💪

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently in a Master Degree in Applied Mathematics

• Strong analytical background (Machine Learning, Mathematics)

• Coding skills in Python

• Entrepreneurial spirit and know-how to identify opportunities for improvement

Extra Awesome Skills

• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

• Passion for reading, analysing and criticizing scientific articles

• Personal projects with code sharing

• Passion for playing with large volume of data
