We are looking to onboard a Product Owner within our Product team.

Your main task will be to oversee the development of the products to meet clients’ needs. More specifically, you will be in charge of:

• Defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
• Creating and prioritizing product feature backlog and development for the product, in relation with business teams to consider business value / ROI.
• Providing backlog management, iteration planning, and user stories.
• Briefing the stakeholders and Agile development team throughout the project and setting requirements.
• Ensuring that the development team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
• Playing an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint goals.
• Leading the planning product release plans and setting the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
• Engaging with Customers and users to nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems.
• Assessing value, developing cases, and prioritizing stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value, aligned with product strategy.
• Researching and analyzing the market, the users and the roadmap for the product
• Keeping abreast of Agile/Scrum best practices, new trends, and our competitors.

Please note that the job can be done remotely if you wish, but you will have to be in Caen (head office) frequently.

What we’re looking for in our Product Owner:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience with SaaS and IT products.
• In-depth understanding of market conditions for SaaS products.
• Excellent knowledge of Agile methodology, experience supervising Agile software development teams.
• Analytical skills to identify customers’ needs and strategize to meet them.
• Technical expertise balanced with management skills and a strong business acumen.
• Great interpersonal skills: communication, diplomacy, and ability to quickly adapt to your audience (clients, developers, …).
• Commitment to customer success, talent for building long-term business relationships.
• Result-oriented approach and flexible mind, enjoying doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
• Positive team-player, thriving in a collaborative environment.
• Fluent spoken/written French and English.

Product Owner Certification would be appreciated.
