Descriptif du poste

We are looking to onboard a Chief Technology Officer within our management team.

Your main task will be to lead the technology vision and strategy for Sinay. More specifically, you will be in charge of:

  • Serving as a member of the executive management team, providing thought leadership, and developing strategic plans.
  • Driving product and technology strategy throughout the organization, making key decisions to ensure growth through client-focused solutions.
  • Driving make – buy-as-well strategy and transform into actionable partnership roadmap
  • Defining technology roadmap to secure long-term competitiveness.
  • Overseeing technology architecture and infrastructure to guarantee functionality, efficiency, and security.
  • Leading the team of AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Developers to deliver outstanding solutions.
  • Driving operational effectiveness, by improving operating processes and team coordination/effectiveness.
  • Setting and tracking KPI’s, making sure they are met.
  • Overseeing the delivery of products on-time and on budget.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and investors and using stakeholders’ feedback to make necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
  • Ensuring SINAY stays on top of the latest technology advancements with forward-thinking innovative solutions.

Please note that the job can be done remotely if you wish, but you will have to be in Caen (head office) frequently.


Profil recherché

What we’re looking for in our Chief Technology Officer:

  • Master’s degree and 10+ years of senior leadership experience in IT and SaaS companies.
  • Deep interest in the maritime industry and in-depth understanding of market conditions for SaaS products.
  • Experience driving innovation, product and technology strategies of SaaS solutions with a strong business acumen.
  • Experience building and leading Agile software development teams, excellent management skills that balance performance results and positive people interactions.
  • Deep understanding of all technology considerations (cost, performance, scalability, maintainability, …) and the strategic implications of making technology choices.
  • Broad knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, software systems, architecture, and development of web-based applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
  • Great communication and facilitation skills, confident public speaker.
  • Fluent spoken/written French and English.
