The Opportunity: Shape the Core of Sifflet
As our Product Manager - Platform, you’ll be at the heart of Sifflet’s technical foundation. This isn’t just about adding features; it’s about strategically evolving the core platform to ensure it’s robust, scalable, and a joy to use, both for our internal teams and our diverse user base – from highly technical Data Engineers to less technical Analysts and Business Executives, and everyone in between.
You will own the platform roadmap, ensuring Sifflet not only meets the demanding needs of our rapidly growing enterprise customer base but also remains intuitive and efficient. Your work will directly impact the reliability, performance, and overall user experience of our entire product suite.
Here’s a taste of the platform challenges you might own:
Enterprise Readiness: Advancing our Identity/Access Management and security posture to meet the demands of large organizations.
Integration with Collaboration Tools and Software Development Platforms: Ensuring that Sifflet has advanced and fully-featured integrations with key enterprise collaboration tools (like Microsoft Teams and Jira) and software development platforms (like GitHub and GitLab).
Consistent User Experience: Driving initiatives around core UI workflows, navigation, and shared components to create a cohesive feel across Sifflet.
Platform Enablement: Building foundational services and APIs that accelerate development and innovation for all product teams.
What You’ll Do:
Own the Platform Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and communicate the strategic direction for Sifflet’s core platform components, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and developer experience.
Enhance Usability Across Personas: Deeply understand the needs of both technical (e.g., Data Engineers interacting with APIs) and non-technical users (e.g., Data Analysts needing intuitive workflows), ensuring the platform empowers everyone.
Drive Execution: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other product teams to translate platform strategy into tangible features and improvements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Gather Insights: Engage with customers and internal stakeholders, and analyze usage data to inform platform priorities and validate solutions.
Bridge Technical & Business Needs: Act as a key translator between complex technical requirements and business objectives, ensuring platform investments align with Sifflet’s overall goals.
Who We’re Looking For:
Proven B2B SaaS PM: You have demonstrable experience (ideally 3+ years) as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment, managing complex technical products.
Data Ecosystem Savvy: You have exposure to and a good understanding of the modern data stack, data engineering challenges, or data platforms. You speak the language of data teams.
Platform Thinking: You naturally think in terms of systems, scalability, APIs, and foundational components. Experience with infrastructure or platform-as-a-service products is a strong plus.
User Empathy: You can step into the shoes of different user personas (technical and non-technical) to understand their workflows and pain points.
Technical Acumen: While you don’t need to be a coder, you possess strong technical understanding and can engage effectively with engineers on architectural decisions.
Strategic & Analytical: You can balance long-term strategic vision with short-term execution, using data to guide your decisions.
Excellent Communicator & Collaborator: You excel at working cross-functionally and articulating complex ideas clearly.
Why You’ll Love Working at Sifflet (Beyond the Exciting Challenges!):
Be an Owner: We offer a competitive salary and meaningful Employee Stock Options (ESOP), because we’re all building Sifflet together.
Health & Wellbeing First: Benefit from top-tier health insurance and a Gymlib subscription to support your physical and mental wellbeing.
Work Your Way: We champion flexibility. Choose to work fully remotely or join us at our vibrant office located in the heart of Paris. We value in-person connection for key collaborations, so some sporadic office days can be part of the mix.
