Mission

Become a trusted partner to the Product team (includes tech) and the Head of People on all hiring aspects related to the product team, to help Side complete its next growth phase and ambitious goals. You’ll be a plain product team members, even if non-technical, you also work on continuously creating the best work experience for thousands of people.

Rely on the company culture, vision, managers’ goals and already existing hiring structure, you are the owner of the hiring processes and best practices from structuring the hiring plans to opening offers and sourcing and then to onboarding.

Your main mission will be to scale the product team from 12 to 30+ within a year. We expect a high degree of excellence, making sure every newcomer perfectly fits the company, its culture and values while bringing value on the long run. Opened roles range from DevOps to front-end, design, Product management and even management positions.

What we need your help with

HR is key to the team success and has been a focus since day 1. We aim at providing an empowering hiring experience while building a strong and high-performing team aligned on a common vision.

Your tasks will be the following:

Prepare for a scaled product team architecture, hiring for a 12 people team is different from 50+ (2 years plan)
  • Get hands on all the job openings and understand what are the needs behind them
  • Owning and managing your talent pipelines from prospecting to offer
Improve the current hiring processes, following Side standards: transparent, inclusive and pragmatic
  • Elaborate the product team HR needs conjointly with managers for the coming years (match product team roadmaps with mid-long term hiring needs)
Define our employer brand, by following a clear strategy and involving the product team members
  • Actively sharing company culture and participating in employer branding activities
  • Handle external relationships with schools, training organisations and personal network to continuously fuel pipes of candidates that match Side requirements

  • You will be an active member of the product team, even if you don’t code or design, you’ll build its future
  • You will need to understand, follow and participate in product vision, evolutions, you’ll hire for it
  • You must be eager to learn constantly from design, tech, product management, benefit from a team of experts and mixing skills and expertise to perform better

Profil recherché

Skills

  • At ease in a product team environment, vision and roadmap are familiar notions
  • Understand product roles: DevOps, Data, Back, Front, fullstack, mobile, design, PM - basic understanding of the different technologies and stacks involved
  • Hunting skills, ability to quickly fill the pipes and finding the matching profiles (fit-wise as well)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomy, ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to move/push forward, make sure informed decision are taken, promptly
  • Perfect french written and spoken
  • Good english needed, non-french hirings are to be expected
  • Teamwork is key, product team members participate in the hiring processes
  • Comfortable in working within a mostly remote team

Bonus

  • Continuous improvement mindset, as the product building process, test, learn, improve
  • Already worked in a scaled product organisation (squads / stream) with multiple layers and interdependencies
  • Existing networks or the ability to build them
  • Long term thinking and investments, seeds to harvesting is key
  • Previous experiences with working in a startup and fast paced environment

  • First phonecall with someone from Product or HR team (15-30min)
  • Interview to deepdive into your past experiences and motivations (1h30min)
  • Practical interview to experiment actual use cases and technical aspects (1h)
