Shipup has been selling in the US from Europe with success for 2 years. Most customers use several integrations, customer happiness is largely driven up by integration usage, and we work with partners to source new revenue in North America.

On the ground of this successful experience, we have opened offices in NYC to accelerate.💥 That’s where you come in.

With already more than 10 apps built with third-party partners and an aggressive roadmap to add more & more, Partnerships are critical at Shipup. As the 1st partnerships manager. You will both develop our network of agencies and develop long-term relationships with our strategic tech partners ( Zendesk, Magento, Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgias…) to develop Shipup’s reputation in the US.

This is the first hire in this function, and this role has the potential to build a fast-growing business unit to support Shipup’s US objectives.

You will play a critical role in the development of Shipup in the US and will report to the COO. This role is based in New York and requires a combination of strong operational program management, hands-on execution with partners, and the capability to build a roadmap/strategy.

This position is ideal for a kickstart kind of person who believes in long-term partnership and making bonds with people. You are confident in talking with senior-level partners. You are looking to work in an international team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) through industry partners and events
  • Manage Tier 1 agency partner relationships
  • Work closely with Account Managers to help them close deals
  • Be the face of the company at various events, meetups, and trade shows
  • Become a thought leader on the topic of ecommerce in the Shopify and Magento ecosystem
  • Build the processes that ensures the internal knowledge about all partner apps is easily accessible and actionable for all go-to-market teams
  • Collaborate with all internal areas exposed to the partner program, including Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, and build processes to ensure smooth collaboration at scale
  • Build a program able to handle hundreds of partners. Design, implement, and iterate on the processes, tools, and technologies that will allow us to achieve this ambitious objective.

Profil recherché

You could be a good fit if :

  • You have 2+ years in a business development/ partnerships role in a tech company
  • You have a previous experience or can demonstrate a holistic understanding of marketing and sales strategies in ecommerce or SaaS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You are looking for a “launching a startup” experience with the opening of the US (a high level of ownership & initiative is required)
  • You are savvy about software and people trust you for your matter expertise
  • Comfortable with an international environment: this job might require 25% travel time (once traveling is safe)
  • Active listener, you are able to build trust with partners and collaborate with multiple teams
