    Everyday, 35% of distributed water is lost in homes, buildings and infrastructures. Thanks to its technology, Shayp detects water leaks in real-time and enables maintenance staff to solve leaks and drive costs down.

    Shayp is a fully integrated service that helps building managers, homeowners and insurers eliminate leaks and related damages. Shayp helps property managers keep their water bills under control. Since water is for life, their goal is to save it.

    At Shayp, we designed a non-invasive and algorithmic driven solution to detect water leaks for professionals and consumers. We address a large range of customers such as cities, real estate companies, institutions and insurance companies.

    Among others, Shayp won the Belfius Smart Belgium Award and was recognised as one of the most promising global InsurTech companies at Zurich Innovation World Championship.

    Our wish is to reduce global consumption of distributed water by 30% and reduce associated collateral damage. Our goal is to develop the use of our technology and service to save 100 billion liters of water worldwide by 2022. To achieve such a goal, we need the support of our community. As a community manager intern, you’ll be the voice of the company and will represent Shayp in the purpose of growing its community.

    Community Manager

    As Shayp’s community manager, you will be the link between our company and its audience. You’ll represent the company towards followers, customers and future customers. You’ll work with our content creator and communication manager to design a clear communication strategy, and apply it.

    Internship Objectives/Opportunities/Missions

    • Manage the different Shayp’s accounts on social media (mainly Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Quora) as well as personal accounts of our co-founders
    • Be proactive: Implement and propose new social media campaigns and strategies to achieve our objectives in every platform
    • Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts (Creating visual content would be part of your daily tasks, so having experience in design would be appreciated)
    • Monitor Shayp’s reputation responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner and promoting reviews and feedback from our happy customers.
    • Regular Analysis: Monitor and report performance of our different accounts
    • Researching to keep an up-to-date knowledge of the industry, trends and competitors
    • Be proactive in building a community and boost brand awareness not only inside our profiles but also in external groups / forums / communities.
    • Reporting to Marketing Manager and coordinating with Communication team to ensure brand consistency

    Preferred experience

    Profile

    • Previous experience as a community manager is highly appreciated
    • Hands on autonomous person with some knowledge in graphic design
    • Ability to identify and interpret relevant community & website metrics and KPIs
    • Excellent writing communication skills in English and French
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
