Based out of Berlin, sennder was founded in 2015 by David Nothacker, Nicolaus Schefenacker and Julius Koehler. In 2020, Everoad, the French leader in digital freight forwarding based in Paris and founded by Maxime Legardez, merged with sennder to become Europe’s leading digital freight forwarder. By merging with sennder, Everoad became “sennder France”.

Their Goal? Their mission as a data-based technology company is to revolutionize the logistics and transport industry by connecting small freight companies with large business groups.

Our fast-growing Technology startup sennder is in need of an outstanding talent to lead our Account Management  team.

sennder, is changing the way people think about logistics. We revolutionize road freight logistics by making it simpler, quicker, and more cost-efficient to move Full Truck Loads across Europe. We offer the best option for moving freight even to the largest companies by providing a network of technology-connected trucking companies. Shippers get real-time GPS tracking on all shipments, and business analytics to improve their supply chain. You can learn more from us here

By leading a team of 20 people, the Head of Account Management is here to provide excellent quality of service and help grow our accounts in order to help stabilize our rapid growth. 

The role is based in our Paris office.

Your challenge will be:

  • Work across functions to continually seek new solutions for team efficiency and customer logistics challenges
  • Provide leadership and direction to a high-performance team of managers and individual contributors, including hiring, training, and career development
  • Guiding, coaching and energizing the account management team, as well as enticing the rest of the organization to take its part
  • Lead and inspire top talent to reinvent and streamline processes, practices and behaviors to drive customer success
  • Driving revenue and growth within your teams portfolio of accounts

 To get there you will need:

  • Proven leadership, coaching and management skills
  • Highly effective communicator with good people instincts - able to build trust and work well with a diverse group inside and outside the company
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of internal and external partners
  • The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • High integrity individual who’s enthusiastic about building a great company for the long term, and making a huge, positive impact in the world and on education
  • French (native level)
  • English (fluent level)
  • A third language (e.g. german, spanish)  would be a plus :)
