sennder is a European digital freight forwarder looking for a Carrier Account Executive to join our Carrier Team. The role is based out of the Paris office and will report to Head of Carrier. Do you want to help us shape the future of the logistics industry?

As a Carrier Account Executive you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like developing sales activity in the region Rhône-Alpes/PACA, by building the loyalty of carriers and establishing a lasting and trusting relationship.

In this role you will

  • Full responsability of your region Rhône-Alpes/PACA, concerning the lanes and the carriers (margin, tracking and quality),
  • Partner with carriers in order to obtain a commitment,
  • Deal with price negotiation and transport purchase on the basis of regular flows,
  • In the medium term, have a perfect knowledge of prices and incoming/outgoing flows in your region,
  • Meet the carriers on-site,
  • Have a role of account management,
  • Take care of the onboarding, qualification and training of carriers,
  • Be in constant interaction with internal services (operations, sales, data, product, etc.)

Preferably you are

  • We are looking for candidates who already have initial experience in buying or selling B2B solutions. If you have transport sector experience, it would be a plus,
  • You have a team spirit and strong interpersonal skills,
  • You like challenges to go above and beyond,
  • You are fluent in both French and English. Spanish and/or Italian is a plus.
  • You have the driving license to visit the carriers,
  • You are persistent and persuasive,
  • You are curious and want to learn.
